I love tobin! he is such a sweet guy and he knows so much about everything. ask him about almost any article and he's probably read it before. He is so passionate about anthro/ctsj and comes prepared to class everyday. Let's students lead conversations but still facilitates discussions. take a class with him if you can you'll learn a lot.

If you show genuine interest in the topic and spend some time talking to him about it he can be really helpful and great to bounce ideas around with. He's also a wonderful person and a very smart man.

There's a LOT of homework, and you really need to do the readings to get good grades on papers. Also, the class is a power point EVERY day. But, he's nice, and kind of a pushover, so just badger him and you'll get what you want.
