Jeff is a good instructor if you come to class prepared. He will not spoon feed you the material. If you’re willing to work and ask good questions you’ll like the class. Although the Cost Accounting book OSU uses sucks. Before you go to his office and ask him for help make sure you research the topic. Jeff does not have patience with lazy people. I would rate him highly as a professor. He is higher caliber than OSU is usually able to hire.

The text Ketz he loves but is very confusing, read chapters slowly or twice. DO the homework all of it for good review. The project NeverLose is a killer takes about 20 hours+ to do. Get help early he hates last minute questions.

Jeff is a nice guy, but I didn't like his teaching. The book for the couse (Ketz) was terrible, so that could be part of it. You never lean how to do the homework. No or very little review is provided for the tests and they are hard.

Really AWESOME professor, he'll go out of his way to help you with the class. Gives pretty hard tests though, he bases them off the CPA exam. So it's challenging. You'll learn a lot though, awesome guy, he gives out candy!

He's the friendly skinny asian man that is always down to talk with you about accounting, and other things. He is smart, no doubt in my mind. However, there is really no need to go to the lecture, unless there is a scheduled quiz; you can download ppt.

He made me care about school again. I actually cared enough about his opinion that I didn't want to suck on his tests cause he had faith that I could excel. I worked hard, got an A, and actually learned something. Worth the effort!
