Extremely self-centered, not willing to look beyond his own opinions and consider others'. Plays favorites a ton (I know because I was one of them). Likes to play stupid mind games with his students -- if he writes something on your paper that doesn't make sense, make SURE to ask him about it: that is a "test" to see if you're "paying attention."

This was a great first year seminar, but it was definitely hard. Professor Hunter gives very clear instructions and assignments, but it's sometimes hard to figure out how to do well. He is an EXTREMELY hard grader, and his rationale for the grades he gives is often very subjective. He's friendly, though, and has a good sense of humor.

things started out alright, but somewhere along the way, his stiff personality began to show. he's okay, i guess. i can see why a few people think he's a bit pompous. he's mediocre. not really helpful with comments on papers. he is, however, well organized and clear. he's a mixed bag.
