I would not advise taking his online class as his approach is very hands off, and the material is not easy. You essentially have 3 exams and a large quantity of reading in between each exam. His lectures are confusing and monotone and not being in a classroom has taken away my ability to ask questions. He does not respond quickly.

Kinlaw...what can I say...HARD!!!!!! His reading assignments were so hard and hs was confusing and not clear. He likes when you talk a lot and take good notes. Go see him out side the class room and he is a great person! He is boring and has a monotone voice when he teaches. Take this class somewhere different.

Insanely hard to follow--I'm interested in Philosophy, but the emphasis on mathematical equations is truly disheartening. I can only hope it gets better from here because I am losing the will to care.
