If I could recommend one professor at Iona to anyone in the business school, It'd be Dr. Haber. He is hands down the best teacher I have taken since I've been here and will do whatever it takes to continue to be in the courses he offers. Passionate guy, extremely knowledgeable. Doing HW and paying attention is vital. Cant say enough good about him.

I'm taking him again next semester. He is literally the ideal accounting teacher at Iona for accounting majors. He teaches the chapter one day and goes over practice problems the next. There are 4 tests in the semester. He also lets out class after an hour. He keeps my attention every day, and he's just such a good professor.

Dr. Haber intensions are good but he is not the right guy to teach. Approach is inconsistent with the topic. He tests what you understand and review. Normally, an excellent teacher would lecture on a topic, provide specific examples and practical applications, then test your understanding. Iona needs to find a more sophisticated professor.

The professor thinks of inane things like why Cinderella's shoe didn't fit other women in the kingdom. Really? Is he that stupid? It's obvious. Even today they sell custom shoes. And yet you act dumb so he'll give you an A because he's so full of himself.

By far, the best professor I had at Iona. If you actually care about Accounting as your major then take him. His teaching techniques are great. You have to do the homework and work towards a good grade, but he makes you strive to do that. Overall good guy. Wish he taught more Accounting courses.
