Not a bad guy, but he was difficult to try to talk to. My questions were hardly answered and the amount of work in the class in such a short period of time was overwhelming at times.

All assignments are done with Connect which has the entire book online, so skip the physical book and just buy Connect access code. You go over the same material 3 times for each chapter so you really do learn the material and tests are easier. He replies slow so don't wait to start assignments. Good easy class if you like teaching yourself.

He is very approachable if you have any questions. Although, he won't just give you an answer he'll work with you to ensure you understand it. Like he should. He goes out of his way to ensure you understand the material.

The class is straight forward. Read the chapter, do the assigned homework and take 1-2 tests per chapter. I enjoy the stability of this class and professor Jones is always pretty quick to respond if I had any issues. He's a little short in his messages but I assume that's bc he's so busy. All around I enjoy his classes and the work he assigns!

Professor Jones was always quick to reply to my emails as well as other students that I'd talked with. Very helpful with discussion boards and questions. The work is cut & clean, Ch homework & 2 tests per Ch. Gave chances to make up missed work also! I enjoyed the class and being able to work at my own pace.

You can hear the crickets chirping... if you are taking this class online, you have no support. I have completed 60 points worth of homework but he only gave me 20 points of credit. He refuses to answer my email to tell me why. I'm working so hard and I'll be lucky to get a "C". No matter how hard you work, it's only about the quizzes.

fin act201. this online course is just about you doing ALL the work. Read the book page to page, line by line, and take 2 quizes and 1 test/week. All is okay if you're motivated to put in the time. But the extra credit prj was just not clear and it dragged me down. I wish I have more attention from the professor.

Really good professor! Weekly assignments consist of homework and a quiz each week. The only problem I have is there is no class interaction even for an online course. I had no idea my friend was in my class until the last two weeks of the course. Definitely needs more class interaction, thats what business is about.

Took 16 week online class. Fairly easy, open book tests! Required online use of "Secondlife," which is totally weird to newcomers. It is a virtual world with avatars, etc. Could have done without that part, but not hard.

Per chapter, there was one homework assignment and one test. There were two papers for the class. The SecondLife study was interesting as it provided as a view into the future of conferencing and training venues. I found his workload reasonable and fair for a distance-education class. I would take an class offered by him.

i should've listened to the people who said not to take this guy especially accounting online. you get 2 tests per chapter a week. the questions are incredibly hard. maybe the class itself is hard, but i really would NOT recommend to take this class online!!!!
