I took his class in 2001. This professor was so horrible that it's been 6 years and I am taking time out to write on this board. This class was a waste of my time. No one would show up to class. He is not helpful and beyond arrogant. Please look for another class.

Kerr-Ritchie was good enough that I took two classes with him. He's got a cool British accent, his lectures are fairly stimulating, and grades were only based on papers (which were easy to do well on). Nice guy.

Class is kind of easy, but his classes feel like independant study. The lectures are unclear, boring and have no relation to exam questions. Also, the guy is a proud communist, that's right, so be prepared to listen to a lot of bs about that in class.
