Professor Korn is easily the best professor in the physics department. He spends lecture time on the material you need to know and leaves out a lot of the theory if it won't really help you learn. He's funny and easy to access outside of class. Very down to earth.

The best professor I've had at MSOE. He really knows his stuff. Doesn't make you buy a textbook, but be prepared to go to class regularly, if not every day. He's a really funny guy, which makes class fun and interesting.

This guy is awesome! Seriously, I've never been so jazzed before about a lab until I had this guy as a teacher. He doesn't use the textbook, so you won't get lost in some strange derivation that makes no sense. The guy is also a lot of fun!

Flawless. Genuinely & enthusiastically interested in helping students understand material. He's the lab manager, so if he doesn't feel like doing part of a lab, you'll just skip it. Easy&clear grading criteria, &gave me a few extensions after my personal life collapsed on me. Legitimately cares&saved my sanity, &1st good Physics prof I've had here.

The best professor I've had at MSOE. He knows what he's talking about! Even though we don't use the book, I've never had problems with the material in the class. His homework problems are a good representation of what will be on the test and he gives you plenty of extra material to study from. He's super open to helping also. He's the best.

Awesome teacher. For lab, he let's groups work on their own, only interjects to see if you need help. Because he doesn't like the textbook, and uses his own coursework, the class is more coherent than most, and actually makes sense. If even 70% of the teachers at MSOE were like Korn, I would have no regrets about MSOE. So far my #1 teacher.

Korn is the friggin best. I had him for physics 2, lectures can be a bit boring, but i had him for 8 am so maybe it was just the time. Tests are nice. homework is pretty easy. Awesome teacher. If everyone at MSOE was like him, this school would be 100X better.

Professor Korn is one of the finest teachers that msoe has to offer. Extremely knowledgeable and great at conveying his knowledge to students. His sections always fill up right away, so if you have the opportunity to take him, DO IT!
