He grades hard, but it's not impossible to do well. The writing lab will be your best friend. And if you get a paper written early, he will meet with you to go over it. Definitely do the reading before class though. It's akward to sit there in silence... :/

I made a "D" in this man's class, why? Because he really didn't teach us how to write he just graded us on what we wrote. He let us out early half the time and we mainly read poetry in class. He had a dry sense of humor-that was okay.
