Jeff is a great guy, but does expect a lot of reading to be done. When I got really sick during the semester I had a class with him, he was incredibly understanding. He can be a little on the boring side at times, but he's overall a good professor who knows a lot about his field

He's not a bad teacher but he assigns so much reading that students have to pretend to have read a lot of it. Except for the hopelessly dedicated drones who are boring anyway. Either way makes for boring discussions.

Jeff is a really nice guy. I had a lot of trouble in his class because his co-teacher was so terrible, but I think if he taught something I was interested in I would take it. He sees the funny side of things and presents interesting information on his subject. Very well informed.

oh poor jeff,a pleasant man, one of the most uncomfortable speakers i have ever met. he tries, and he cares about his subject matter, he just never manages to relate this passion to his students. rather, he puts them to sleep. i would avoid classes with him in the future.

The smartest guy around, and always open for a good exchange of ideas. Totally thorough, a real intellectual. Only problem is that he trusts the students to lead the class, and most of them just aren't that smart and haven't done the copious reading anyway.
