It's really a good sleeping time in his class^_^Ready to teach yourself. Exams are different with homework, so be careful! If you do well in your homework, it doesn't mean you will also do well in the exam! But he will curve, how much? I don't know because he doesn't know neither. He doesn't have a grading criteria, Surprised? So Good luck!

Only two tests, the midterm and the final. He doesn't help at all and his lectures are a waste of time. STEER CLEAR OF THIS CLASS. If you have no other choice other than to take this class, get ready to teach yourself economics.

Comment:

Nice guy, his teaching methods are tough. But he really gives us a good chance to get a good grade in the class even if you started out poorly and I have a lot of respect for that. Good professor and nice guy overall. More of a realist than an optimist.

Easiest class if you study the textbook. He usually rambles in lecture but you don't have to show up. Just swipe in and leave and then self study. Homework is online on Aplia which are easy if you just go over the textbook. One midterm, one final. Both are multiple choice and very easy if you, once again, just read the textbook.

He definitely has a personality, but he's a tough professor. Lectures are filled with stories and anecdotes, but there is actually a great deal of material buried underneath all that. To succeed in the class you need to show up and take notes! And even so, you're not guaranteed to get it all. Tests are hard: trick questions, allnone of the above..

Learned nothing from this class, how this guy got a job is beyond me, the class would of been better if you put a water bottle in the front of the class and had it teach to us, Baruch really needs to reevaluate who they hire. i am more then sure i am not the only student in this class who feels this way. I passed with a B+, no thanks to him.

in my point of view, he's helpful and understanding person, just have to pay attention to his notes and some mind topics in the book. some articles and 2 movies to watch. 20%HW 30%midterm 50%final. he allows you to have a cheat sheet. exams are not easy perpetration are from your notes. make sure you go to class for your notes.

I have no idea what he was trying to teach us. I tried hard in his class to understand everything but he made it soooo much harder than it needed to be. His tests are impossible and he's extremely arrogant. But he's very knowledgable and funny.

I seriously don't know how it is even possible to get a grade lower than B in his class(B- in the worst case scenario). The class is challenging, but he allows to use formula sheet on the exam. Just copy what he writes, and make extra notes. I read 1 chapter from the book, read extra material on Blackboard (not more than 20 -25 pages) and did well

THE WORST PROFESSOR I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. 1. His lectures were very confusing and boring. Half of the lecture he could talk about his personal staff. 2. Grade was based on the midterm exam and the final. Exams questions were mostly based on the class notes, few chapters and 3 movies. I still regret for taking his class...
