She is a really nice woman, but her teaching style is not very effective. Assigns a lot of busy work that you don't learn from. Hands out a billion papers that you have to keep all semester. Lots of group work, but mostly discussion based. Half the time I don't know what she's going on about. An easy class, but I don't feel I've learned anything.

I took this class online. The instructor was a bit disorganized and she took a very long time to respond to emails. Be persistent if you need questions answered. This class is an easy A as long as you do all of your work.

Jennifer is one of the worst teachers I've ever had. All of the teaching in the class is done by the students. Jennifer does nothing but assign useless work, which she does not grade fairly. We spent almost every class watching movies from the 80s that had nothing to do with what the book was about. I would not recommend this class to anyone.

Exceptional teacher!! Always comes to class super pumped and ready to go. Keeps class fun and interesting with lots of group activities!! Learned a lot about myself, the subject, and classmates. Show up, do the work, get an A!! If she taught all the CD classes, would choose her every time... LOVE HER!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER TO EVERYONE!!

Jennifer was a great teacher!! She was full of great stories and interesting facts. She knows her stuff!! It was very interactive and included lots of really fun in - class and at home activities. If you can help it, Do NOT miss class!! I never wanted to anyway. Definitely recommend her class for anyone who needs Child Development units.

If you're not ready to work, then don't take this class. She uses great resources, though, and her writing assignments are reasonable and well planned for max learning. I'm learning alot. She's a little confusing when describing her assignments and what she expects. A little frustrating but overall I like the class.

She is awesome! It is A LOT of work, you dont sit and twiddle your thumbs in this class at all. She is very smart, and honestly I took this as a night class and I can say all my classmates loved her. This is not for someone who is lazy, but overall, great person and teacher, I wish she taught more classes!!!

Jennifer puts alot of energy into qall of her classes. She tries to make things creative so you just dont have to listen to a boring lecture every class. She puts a lot of extra time in making copies of handouts and looking for resources.

Ok, You've read some reviews saying she's a horrible teacher. She's soo NOT. She's really an awesome teacher. Super nice. There is never a dull moment in her class. You have to keep up! If u miss a class, you'll fall behind... Lots of busy work, but easy! DO the work & u WILL get rewarded. I HIGHLY recommend her! She doesn't favor btw - she's fair!

Jennifer is very resourceful, but does not grade fairly. She never returned our work in a timely manner, and was not clear on what she wanted included in the assignments. I noticed she tends to favor some students, and it shows when she grades papers. Just get to know her, and she's not really that bad. You will learn a lot in her class.

Don't take her she sucks!!! I got an "A" but she is so unfair. She doesn't clearly state what she expects of you and then she changes the requirements for projects as they are being presented so you get screwed.
