Exam was multiple choice/essay. MC consisted almost entirely of review Qs from class. Her answers were wrong in class. She said she'd fix them. I didn't believe her & just memorized the wrong answers. Rolled the dice & picked those answers on the exam. I got the highest MC grade in the class. That ought to tell you everything you need to know.

Very difficult to follow the flow of the semester. Much of the time just read off of the powerpoint slides. I came in interested to learn about Criminal Law and was let down. I would not recommend.

She is the absolute worst. Tests you on laws she made up that she thinks will be laws in the future. Gets defensive when you challenge her. She is passionate about family law because she has a lot of personal experience. I don't know how she has tenure. I would rather take a Saturday class than take her for anything.

I ended up in the top 5 in her Contracts I class. Her slides and lectures aren't that helpful. If you want to do well, you've got to do it on your own. She'll tell you to take CALI lessons, but if you focus on the restatements, UCC, and damages you'll be fine.

Awful. AWFUL. Didn't tell law school we had a midterm and (literally) yelled at us for not telling them ourselves. Recycled review Qs for the exam, but the "correct" answers were still dead wrong, as they were in class. When students are confused, she's defensive, fails to explain, and gets openly exasperated. It's *always* the students' fault.

She's the worst. Would have been nice to have been taught contracts by someone that cares about the subject, which Drobac does not. She's probably better for her upper level courses, but if you have the misfortune of being assigned to her IL contracts class, I truly have pity on you.

I took Drobac for sexual harassment and I enjoyed her and the class. I actually paid attention in her class. She is passionate about this area of the law and gives practice pointers. She can be a bit rough around the edges but she provides a detailed grading rubric and her exam, though difficult, is straight forward.

The worst prof I have had the misfortune of having. Uninformed, unprepared, not knowledgeable, and extremely unprofessional. Openly informed the class that they were responsible for ensuring she would not receive a raise because of our neg. feedback from the first semester. She has no business teaching contracts.

Worst professor I've ever had. Will never take another class with her. Disorganized, did not know the material, could not calculate damages. Gives poor directions and even when the whole class misunderstands, fails 50% on an assignment

Enjoyed the class. It is very geared towards civil rights and is an interesting perspective. She's a brilliant person but sometimes it's frustrating that you don't know what to read for the next class, but 40 pages is a safe bet.

Never take a Family Law course from this professor. Apart from assigning two skimpy practical exercises, she makes little effort to help students get future careers as family lawyers. She treats her students like children and does not teach statutes. If you want to learn about Family Law, read a commercial outline and don't waste your tuition.

Absolutely terrible professor. Deducted participation points even with full attendance and no passes, yet proceeded to explain that participation points were deducted for passing even though passes were permitted. Take Famlily Law if you want to learn nothing about the law and lots about one sided arguments

Hands down one of the worst professors I have ever had. Cancelled class for an entire month because she was behind on a book deal. She explains how she grades but it often leads to nonsensical results. Cannot clearly explain problems. Discouraged students from office visits or emails but then deducted points for not using office hours or emailing.

She spent too much time discussing politics instead of helping students to become future lawyers. For the most part she taught Family Law at the academic standard of a community college course.

Prof. Drobac is excellent. She is passionate about the subject matter she teaches and about her students. I find myself applying things I learned in her class in other areas of my legal education. Yes, she has strong opinions, but I believe part of education is learning to respect others' views. She grades fairly regardless of your views.

She is very interesting/strange professor. She keeps class lively, but she can be overbearing at times. No socratic method. You sign up for the day you will be on call. Her exam was essay & short answer (open-note).
