Glass is sort of hard if you don't like subject. Lots of reading and has study guides, participation is required to get a good grade, but lots of opportunities for this. Likable and very helpful is you need help. Uses TA, but only for reviews and online help. Good TAs.

I have had 2 classes with her and she is the reason I took the 2nd class. She is very challenging and hard, but if you are interested in social psychology you will love her. Great personality and open outside of class. DO THE READINGS! You will be lost if not, and do the class discussions. Work super hard! Lots of writing in seminar..LOTS!

Hallett is an EXCELLENT teacher who encourages you to think for yourself. And that my friends is why this class is so difficult. Imagine that... someone who encourages you to think! And not just memorize data. KUDOS HALLETT

The first day was rough; Dr. Hallett warned us she could be really hard. I have never had a stats class prior to hers, and I ACE'ed it! She's incredibly intelligent and helpful. USE your TA for extra help, and never skip a class. She's a great person and professor.

She's a great teacher. Really knows her stuff. Sometimes she confusesherself because she speaks fast. You must pay attention and do your work, it helps. She uses her own book and it's cheap ($17) so that's not a problem. Very helpful!!!!

The course material was pretty difficult, but if you stick with it and ask for assistance Dr. Hallett will take the time to help you out that's only if you make the effort. I recommend this course to those students who enjoy thought provoked learning and can hold their own in a class discussion. Overall she is a pretty good professor.

shes an awesome teacher!! but its a hard class so show up!!! take advatage of the TA's and doing your homework is the best practice you can get. She does alot of vocab .. all her test are written response question so make sure ya know what ur talkin about!

Don't take this class in the 6 week session unless you are already a whiz at statistics, have perfect health, and don't have any other pressures. Dr. Hallet is an excellent professor, and a good teacher. If you want to LEARN statistics, take her class.

This instructor was nice and had a good personality but her class was so hard. I got a B and I studied all th time. You have to stay on top of her material and make sure you know all the vocab and signs. Her exams are very difficult and mostly vocab.

The course material is not very difficult, but it is important to stay on top of it. Her TAs were helpful, and she was busy a lot of the time. I went by her office hours once and she wasn't there. The tests were a bit hard. She also wants you to use a PDA, so if you're not interested, don't take her.

She said she was interested in helping, but always had something better to do. The class was one of the worst classes I have ever taken. If I could go back and do it again I would change my major to avoid taking this class with this professor again.

I would suggest you not take this as a night class because there is a lot of information and having class meet twice a week would have been better I think. Hallett knows what she is talking about and it may seem like a lot of common sense but don't let that fool you. The tests are all essay. You'll do great if you show up and participate.

Make sure you come to class as active participating is part of your grade. If you take good notes, you shouldn't have to read anything. I didn't read any of the articles assigned and I have an A in the class. If you're not a good essay writer, you may not want to take this class. It's a great conversation course!

This class was really hard for me, and unless your mathematically inclined it will be for you too. She is really scattered with her presentations and her tests are really hard. I would never take a class from her again.
