Great introduction to the humanities for an online course. Challenging but fascinating reading list: Plato's myth of the cave, Frankenstein, Kafka, the Alchemist. I liked the artwork and music examples which were used to provide context for the books. Quick to get back on email, helpful comments on writing assignments.

She was okay. There's a lot to read but it was a four week course. She gives back bad feedback and doesn't suggest what you can do better to help your grade. This course was online though so I don't know how she is in person.

She doesn't answer emails and puts all the work on the student. It is not a respectful or equal relationship between her and the students.

Professor Ham is by far my favorite professor that I've had in my two years here. She is willing to bend over backwards to help students with any troubles they have. Another thing I really liked about her is that she treats students like equals, as if she has just as much to learn from us as we do from her.

Make sure you attend all classes the week before the exam. She is good at giving you new concepts a day or two before the exam. Overall, she tries very hard to help you understand the language and culture. The tutoring/language lab thing can be helpful too depending on the person.
