I loved this teacher. The class was easy, a lot of the homework was online. I did all my online homework for the semester in two weeks and just enjoyed the rest of the semester in this class. Everything about the class is easy and Jen is very kind. I wish she still taught at HCC. I would love for her to teach all of my classes.

She takes forever to grade papers and is confusing with her feedback. I made changes she suggested on one paper to the second paper and got a worse grade on the second paper. She is very energetic but sometimes singles out students and makes them feel inferior and stupid. I took my English 102 class with a different professor!

loved her. super helpful, had her for eng 101 and we spend most of the time doing in class work on the papers.you dont learn much.shes really flexible with due dates and making up work. she worked to make me succeed.

Jennifer is nice but I don't think she's very understanding. I had a lot of issues early in the semester and got a C because I missed 3 in class assignments, she absolutely will not let you make them up. She grades really hard and overall I didn't feel like she liked me very much. This was my least favorite class because of so many group activities

She's nice, funny, and knows her subject. The only thing that kept her from being an awsome teacher was that she seemed to have too much on her plate. She didn't get around to grading our papers for the longest time, which left us very little time for revision.

Ms. Swartout loves NYC, though she should travel to NH more often. Hopefully she'll make it to another CCCC, where she can meet charming Hawaiian men and learn nothing new about composition. I hope she calls again soon. She's the best teacher ever!

Jennifer was simply the best, most understanding, considerate, and knowledgable English professor I've ever had. She has made me want to be an English teacher that much more. She is really understanding of her students as long as you talk to her and let her know what's going on in your life. She's a great professor!
