Mrs Jen is more then a professor. She is a mentor and counselor. She always wants the best for her students even if they are doing well in her class. this semester she was a big help . She is kind and understands real life scenarios. She is a professor I will continue to always talk to outside of classes. Thank you !

She's funny and engaging. Stay on top of the homework assignments and you'll be fine. She offers a good amount of extra credit, and will work with you if you're having any problems. Would definitely take her again.

I really enjoyed her class. There is a lot of small work, but it is worth it in the end cause you get a fantastic understanding about Social Psychology. She is hilarious, and seems to genuinely care about her students. If you have the opportunity to take her in person, I wholeheartedly recommend it

If you can't read the text in full do not expect to pass the tests. There is no need to review the powerpoint. Strong organizational skills and time management needed. Assignments in multiple places.

Overall average online class with valuable information, but don't expect an easy A. Syllabus is confusing and too many online locations to turn in required assignments (do some of the work on Word Press but submit a link to it on BB and hope you submitted the right link). Professor returns emails promptly but BB grades are slow to appear.

The class is easy to a degree. There's a lot of work and if you do it, you'll pass. My only issue with the professor was that her study guides and tests did not match. It was a bit shocking. Would not recommend online.

I had Professor Younkin for PSYC 420 (cross cultural) and PSYC 304 (social). Both were online. There were discussions, papers & tests. Material for the assignments drew from the book & powerpoints. Professor Younkin was very helpful with anything I needed to email her about including Psi Chi and a letter of recommendation for grad school.

Tests are insanely difficult. Many questions on things never found in the text or powerpoints. Maybe she lectures in class in person on these, but as an online student you do not have access to any online lectures, just basic powerpoints. Very particular about format. One error and you get 25 points off.

There is a lot of work. The good think is that the work is based on your perception after reading. 4 two page papers. 10 (optional discussion boards), Wordpress eblog with weekly requirements (sometimes two or three). All manageable right... But the tests are a beast. They are very detailed and closed notes. You MUST study. down to the names.

Tests are super difficult, closed notes. Guidelines are really unclear, all over the place. Power points do not help for understanding of concepts, just basically bullet points, the text really teaches you everything. Content for the course is interesting, but again, came mostly from text. I regret taking this course.

Amazing professor!!! Her grading break down is very clear and she provides so much feedback on all your work. She genuinely cares about her students and is willing to help. I mixed up a few due dates and missed an exam, sent her email, and was more than happy to help me in any way she could. Definitely take her!

If you are looking for an easy class, this is not it. There is not much busy-work, but there is no feedback. 5 two page papers throughout the semester. Gives extra credit, but it isn't additional; rather it is built into the final grade. Took online, says you cannot use outside notes to help on exams, but impossible to pass if you don't. Beware.

Just 5 essays and 4 tests (none are cumulative). There is not much content in this class, no video lectures or anything. I payed money just to read a book to myself which was disappointing. Test reviews basically cover topics that you should be reading. It's an ok class but more content should be involved in it.

Took this class online and it is not easy. You have to read and listen to her lectures, videos, podcasts, and powerpoints if you want to pass. She does curve tests and gives study guides that outline the topics question for question for tests. BUT you have to spend time doing the work to find the answers. Would recommend taking her online.

I took this class online but had her as my advisor. She emphasizes heavily throughout the semester that she's reachable. There were 5 papers and an additional one for extra credit, along with discussion boards. Her syllabus is concise and it seemed as though all work was graded fairly. You definitely need to study to get a's in this course.

Took this as an online class and definitely RECOMMEND HER. Easy class. lots of extra credit opportunity. Responds to emails quickly. Couple tests and short essay assignments, that if you just do you will receive an A. Pay attention to the format thats the only things she truly takes off for.

I took a Criminal Behavior class with her online and she was ok. She was not very accommodating for me and my problems but she did try. Her classes aren't super hard, you just need to read, do the papers and the posts. The papers are actually really interesting to write. However, she comes across as cold and uncaring and unwilling to help.

I loved this class. I actually read the textbook it was very interesting. If you really don't want to read then at least do the Study guide it helped me get an A on every test. As long as you follow guidelines on her assignments you'll get all the points. E.C is simple. One of my favorite classes to date and I'm a senior so I've taken quite a few
