I had Jeremy at a previous school. I had been going through some personal hardship at the time and he not only worked with me but invited me into his office to discuss how I was doing, merely out of the kindness of his heart. I was moved by his kindness. Anybody who says he doesn't care about his students is a fool.

Jeremy is amazing! He changed my life! Dumb people who don't care about the class ruin it though. He is very smart and he is challenging, but in a good way. I have had him for two classes and both were amazing!

For the first two months of class, I had no idea what we were learning about. Then he drew a square on the board and said "this is europe!" the class got more intersting as we went along, and he's a pretty smart guy. very philosophical, but you come out of the class with a lot. you just have to appreciate his teaching style.

The class is supposed to be European History, but he teaches it like a theory class. If i wanted to take Philosophy, I would have. His lectures are boring and unstructured, and his tests are ridiculous. He grades on grammar instead of content. Basically, I dread going to his class even though it's only twice a week.

i love this man. he's extremely smart, and he's funny, if you get his humor, otherwise you might not like him. at first i thought he was a tough grader, but i got by. he's very passionate about what he teaches, and i would love to take more classes with him. he also shares personal experiences which was pretty cool.

I have Jeremy for my freshman seminar, and I think he is wonderful! He is soooo brilliant and engaging to listen to. He is easily accesible and very helpful and caring. I find the material very interesting.

I was astonished by the slanderous maliciousness of the prior remark. I strongly recommend deletion. Professor Varon is a brilliant, sober and organized teacher who gives standard 5 minute breaks. Only callow undergraduates with axes to grind could so grievously misread his assotiational methods.

Varon is the best prof I've had in my 4 years of college. He's intelligent and yes he has a large vocabulary but being smart isn't a crime. He is wonderful to talk to outside of class, but you do have to know how to approach him unless he seems a bit awkward.

Prof. Varon is a little in lovew with his own vocabulary, but he IS a really intellectual guy. Can be really nice if you talk to him outside of class, but always seems a liitle nervous. Great class, good guy, understanding and sweet.
