Awesome professor! If you can take a class with him... do it! Take as many as possible. He says it like it is, but you do not have to agree with his views to get an 'A'. I learned a lot from his class, he is the reason I have a HURL minor. There is no textbook, you read articles on Reserve and discuss them in class. The assignments are very doable.

Challenging! Jesse explores and reveals institutional racism in our society from its very core and from its beginnings in the old world. Very eye-opening if you are at all open-minded. If you're a young adult with everything already figured out (bull****, BTW), this professor will frustrate you.

I am progressive and did enjoy this class, however, Jesse has a very large ego and is very ****. He will let men go on and on in his classes and rarely call on women. He has a posse of followers that just adore him. it's rather obnoxious!

The best Prof i have had so far at SCSU. Very understanding and concerned about his students. Class is pretty easy if u just do the small projects. Doesnt like to give out low grades. Must work hard to do bad in this class.GREAT SELECTION FOR YOUR MGM!!!

An eye opening experience. Very intense. Loved class. Easy to take. No tests. Just discussions. LOVED CLASS. Always went off schedule cause conversations took long times. Loved class.

WOW! This guy is amazingly smart! He engages the entire class in mind-boggling converstations. Highly recommended. He is extremely helpful via email, phone, or in person. A lot of readings, but he is wide open for suggestions about speed of class and the context. Thanks Jesse.

Jesse taught me more than any professor I have taken at SCSU. I had two of his classes and if I ever need another Human Relations class I will try to take it with him. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
