Tuazon is hard to understand. The book used in the course was difficult to understand. There was homework every few weeks and some of the assigned problems on the homework were on the hard sections, so it was nearly impossible to get full points. The test is fairly difficult, in fact the first midterm had to be re-assigned because everyone failed.

Everyone's comments here are pretty dead on. He is hard to understand, and when you ask for help, he usually responds like he is surprised that you could be so incompetent. Homework has LITTLE to do with lecture, and labs are due too quickly (mostly because students are not provided with computer software, I forget its name) Avoid him if you can.

Tuazon may not be the best at explaining things, but usually asking him for help can benefit you. Also, doing the homework AND volunteering to do problems on the board can help your grade out (he gives points for both!) However the projects are long and lengthy so DON'T SLACK OFF ON THEM! Get started early and get it checked off ASAP!

His lectures are boring, but take good notes cuz they are helpful on the tests. The material is actually fun and the lab is even funner. It's not that challenging, but if you are stuck, you can ask him or a classmate for help. More than adequate time to finish his labs. Do the homework and practice your state diagrams, and you can pass!

The man is an idiot. Doesnt give you the answers to hw. Makes students go up to the class and write the solutions on the board, but alot of the time there are a lot of mistakes so you end up not knowing if its right or not.
