Jill is very kind and helpful. She always answered my emails and she always tries to help everyone. The class is not even too hard but you must go to class even if she does not take attendances. In the end she also curves the grades so if u have an average of a B , you can easily expect to get a B+ or A- I recommend this teacher to everyone

Here's the deal, if you know math good for you, you'll be fine...i guess. For the rest of us, not so much. She is VERY nice but, that wont teach you math. She goes through problems very quickly and doesn't stop to make sure everyone is clear on the material.She has office hrs and stuff, but who wants to wait till 7pm to do statistics? Do not take!

Jill is very devoted to her students. She will help you with anything you don't understand. However, I do not recommend taking one of her classes in a lecture center- the university overloads those classes, and you get no individualized attention.

You must attend class if you want a decent grade. NOT necessary to buy the textbook but if you have the funds, I would do it. 1st half of the semester is very easy. 2nd half of the semester, the material gets overwhelming. Shes an extremely nice person and will help you will any problems you have.

pretty pathetic...i really don't know why i even went to the classes. She gives u one example and expects you to somehow know the rest. I spent most of my time reading the textbook and trying to teach the material to myself...the tests were okay if you knew what you were doing but the final horrible...the hardest final i've even taken

Seems like it was her first time teaching: She taught the first two (ridiculous easy) chapters over 2&1/2 months. Then taught the next 4, which were 10x harder, all in 1 month!!! Who made your lesson plan??? Very helpful in office hours though. No homework and drops lowest grade, so all in all not the worst class. Probly better than regular calc

by far the BEST math teacher i have ever had ever ever ever. she explains everything to the point where if you don't get it, you must be sleeping. her tests aren't horrible and the work load is hefty at times, but not horrible. it makes it easier to just show up for tests and pass. show up, pay attention an dyou can't get worse than a B!

Her explainations are the best I've ever had from any math teacher. The only thing I don't like is the huge amount of material we have to learn and the huge amount of notes we have to take. Class NEVER ends early and usually goes about 5 minutes overr even when she says she might end a little bit early.

One of my favourite teachers. Very helpful. Gives great explanations. You do have to dedicate time to study. Found the final to be difficult: I had an A average before I took the final. Probability was on it and I didn't study it since it wasn't stressed on her review sheets . Ended up getting a B in the class. :(

This class is impossible unless you are a math wizard. SHe doesen't teach how to do the various pain in the ass problems, she does one example and assumes you know what your doing. Has already offered two extra credit assignments, most people have given up
