Comment:

Most inconvenient class I have taken. We had a semester long project, which wouldnt be an issue if you didnt have to access 3-5 different programs to even complete half of it. You gotta use programs that cost money, so youre forced to make time and go to the campus, or use the buggy VMware. She is not clear on what she wants for it, and she is rude

I learned real life skills of analyzing a system by dividing into PROCESSES, connecting them through DATA FLOWS and storing data in the DATA STORAGE. She is really good at explaining them in a very understanding language. It's really fun to do a group PROJECT

Comment:

You can earn not only a good grade, but also fundamental understanding of HUMAN COMPUTER INTERFACE through homework, group PROJECTS and preparation for the exams. I have a huge respect for her due to her real interest in student's success and future job placement. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED .

A few students in my class didn't like her because they were impatient with her. She's a very nice woman, she sometimes just doesn't understand what the students are asking her. She offers for you to get a bunch of extra credit points if you watch videos and do worksheets which really helped me!

Gerhardt is a Math teacher in the CSIS department. People get on her case for not being able to fluently use computers. Gerhardt is a good professor that wants to see you pass and learn.

She cannot use a computer, refuses to let you use yours, cannot answer technical questions, information she has is dated, has students run the computer while she attempts to teach, has to tell you she has a PHD, enjoys condescendingly speaking to students, terrible teacher, massive waste of time, gives Stockton a bad name.

How could you be a CSIS professor and not know how to use a computer? All of the work is justifiably simple, though some may take some time to complete. Tests are quite long and luck more seemingly is needed than average, though knowing the material still helps.

Exreamly easy to get a B, but if you put a little effort you can get an A. She knows what she is talking about sometimes, but is lost sometimes when it comes to computers(especially technical). Little homework, most of the work is the project. Tests are worded confusing.

Very discouraging. The majority of the class had not taken math in awhile, and all she encouraged us to do was drop the course. She prefers to criticize you than to help you. "Go to the tutoring lab" is her famous sentence.

One of the worst teachers i had. She doesn't teach anything. We have tons of homework and quizzes every week. If we don't understand something, she just tells us to go to the tutoring lab instead of teaching. I'm pretty sure she's not even a math teacher

Have only had her for a couple days but I can already tell that she's got NO personality. The 1st day of class consisted of her telling us that we were going to fail if we didnt remember anything from highschool. What exactly is her purpose then? Isnt she supposed to teach us? She is very discouraging and treats us like we're all hopeless cases

Had to come back and rate my preceptor from 98 to 02. Horrible at advising...most of the time I just skipped her and took the day off. Got an A in one of her classes but she gave me a C. When I asked why she said I came in late too many times. Give me a break...I'm not even in class and I can still get an A. Thanks, Jill for helping my GPA

Her advising is very, very bad. Instead of encouraging students, she actually discourage them. She'll clearly shows that she doesn't care about you. Most of the time She'll talk about what her daughter did, at her interview. With all due respect, I did not paid for this class to listen garbage. May be she doesn't know, this is not an ethical class.

She cares more about ethical issues in computer science than teaching real material. Boring class & uncreative tests that can create anybody. She don't help much and even careless. If you don't get any other teacher to take then take her, otherwise forget it.

The worst and least intelligent teacher I've ever had in my life. Has absolutely no idea what she's talking about. Doesn't even teach the class, we do problems from the book she reads them in class reads definitions & then next class you take a quiz. I actually feel like my I.Q. drops everytime after I leave her class, plus she's rude.

Most worthless person ever. Someone mentioned on here that she suggested someone to take 7 classes, well she suggested I take 7 classes. I paid $250 for some book for her class and never opened it. She never taught us a thing because she didnt show up for the first few classes than for almost a month she didnt show up until the dean told us she had
