You do not know how good you have got it until its gone. She was a really good teacher and she definitely was fair. When I had her I thought she was an overwhelmingly hard grader but I realized it can get a lot worse. She is very supportive and she caring. I highly recommend her!

The in class parts are great but her expectations for "preparing readings" are ridiculous. The idea that a student should be spending 3 hours preparing for every class in a 100 level course is just dumb. (She also holds your daily preparations to that level so its not just something you can just disregard). PL is cool but not a fan of Gordon.

She's really nice and, even though I barely talked in class, knew my name and was really friendly to me out of class. The material was pretty interesting (I took PL111) and you can tell that she really cares about it. Do the reading (or at least read the Sparknotes) because otherwise you'll be screwed for the tests.

fantastic prof she brings a fresh insight and perspective to the class, sadly she is too radical for most of the people who take her classes and hardly any do the readings or contribute to the discussions. she was always available while i was in her class and i have kept in touch with her long after taking it. wonderful woman.
