She's wonderful. Very knowledgable, friendly, easy to talk to, fun. Makes classes light and always enjoyable. Only thing is we never used the textbook, so think about not getting one for this class.

I failed this class and I still think this teacher is AWESOME. She's incredibly helpful, I learned an immense amount, there wasn't a single conflict of personality, and the films that came out of her class were all fantastic. Take her class, you won't regret it.

Jill is an incredible person and a wonderful professor. She and Mariano were the best pair of teachers I have ever had in all my years of schooling - and I am thankful to have experienced an entire semester with them as a team. The comment below mine is bogus - Jill cares about everyone's assignments and gives thoughtful feedback. GO SECTION 25!!!!

Waste of time and money. If you've ever thought about movies before in any way, you don't need to take her classes. But if you want to get a grade for watching movies, this is the one to take. She didn't even read my homework assignments.

Jill is a great teacher and a good person to know. She knows how to get YOU to do YOUR best. Very smart. Very helpful. And she's "real" in a way that I find a lot of teachers are not. She cares about her students and their work.

Jill is awesome. Perfect for introducing students to film. Far from easy but will work with you. Encourages the best in filmmaking and will weed out the weaklings. If your serious about film and you want the best possible intro experience. Stalk Jill. She will take you places!

Jill Sultz is probably one of the best people who could be introducing film students to the world of moviemaking. The idea of making a living in the film business can be an intimidating one, but Jill helps to equip her students with what the need to make it through the rest of Columbia and the film industry beyond. A great teacher.

I wouldnt quite agree with what everyone else says. Shes unfair & tough when it comes to grading. Yea she can be nice but quite dry too. I wish i had a much better experience & much better teacher. So dont expect too much from jill coz u might set urself up for disappointment...

Really nice and laid back, with a fun sense of humor, but very serious about the craft of filmmaking. A pretty gung-ho class, but not so much that you're tearing your hair out. Gives very honest critiques that actually help. Definitely helps you grow.

Very good teacher. i had her for history of cinema and by chance i have her again for production 1 and i am very excited! the only problem in history of cinema is that she moves through notes very fast and there isnt much time to copy them. she always lets you know when there will be a "pop" quiz.

She knows her stuff and provides sound advice and criticism when evaluating your work. The class is fast paced which is a plus because we're way ahead of the other Production I classes and don't have as much trouble reserving cameras, lighting, etc.
