His tests are mostly fill in the blank and are usually pretty difficult. He does not inform you when an online homework assignment is open or due, so you better check frequently. This class is tough and not very interesting if you aren't a bio major. However, if you need help, it's there if you reach out to him. He doesn't want to see you fail.

Dr. Arnett is an AMAZING teaching. However, you must prepare a week in advance to do well. If you don't study you will NOT pass. He loves his job and what he teaches. Very helpful with preparing study guides before tests. Your class average is based off of 4 tests and a few homework assignments. (besides lab). I hated this class but I LOVED Arnett.

Great teacher. He is willing to help anyone that needs it and offers study guides and good handouts that are relative to the tests. Coming to class is necessary. He is clear in his lecture and wont put anything on his test that he didnt cover in letcure.

Arnett is a great teacher. He really knows his material. He is probably too smart for his own good. If he could teach down a level where freshmen in college could understand then his class would be enjoyable. Your grade is based off about 4 exams then the final. He was a very good teacher, but really hard. He tells you just about everything you need to know in lecture, but make sure you take a whole dang lot of notes and start studying for the test a week in advance. Your whole grade is based on about five tests; no homework at all.

I got an "A" in this class because I studied a week ahead of lab practicals and 4 days ahead of tests. Arnett makes the class interesting, he's very good at lecturing. If you take notes and study your notes...you'll do fine. He gives study guides and you can ask him anything in class and he'll clarify it for you. I think he's a great prof!!!

Arnett is a great teacher! You can make a good grade if you take the time to study for the lab practicals and tests. Take good notes and listen and you'll do fine. Arnett knows what he is talking about, I would recommend to anyone!

I hated the class. He was an awful teacher and never did anything to even try and help me. DO NOT take this class unless you want to kill your GPA. I loved Biology before taking this class and now I hate it. He is awful!

Even though Dr. Arnett is really hard and hates to give A's, I think that he is possibly the best teacher I had a Lipscomb while I was there. As long as you study and he knows that you really try, then you'll do fine.
