He was an excellent teacher. Fairly demanding and held us to a high standard. Left it to us to decide how much we wanted to work in the class. I learned a lot, and was very satisfied with my grades.

He is an amazing teacher, took a difficult class and made it understandable and he applied it to life and what we will see in real world applications. He was really proud of everything we did even when we failed horribly, because we tried. I definately recommend him!!

Teaches math with a shomanistic flair & keeps it exciting. Despite being very popular and having a line outside his door, when he is teaching you one on one, it seems you are the most important person in the world. In fact, the only way to do poorly in his class is if you neglect your studies by daydreaming about how good he looks covered in chalk.

Cares about seeing his students get through not only his class but college and life. Very smart, very understandable and very handsome. Gave me so much confidence that I considered changing my major to math - for a very short period of time.

This guy is the best math professor I ever had by far. Your major has to be Engineering or Math otherwise you could never possibly appreciate him. If you are another major then you will not enjoy his class. Alot of work envolved.

Was a good teacher. I don't know about the best ever but one of my favorites. I always enjoyed how he would throw in comments about the history of calculus and about the people who discovered different aspects of it. Made the class more interesting.

Extremely overrated. Class is usually full of his followers who worship at his feet, which is scary. He's a smart guy, but really can't relay the material well to students. Calc III seemed to be geared more to physics students than anyone else.

BESTEST MATH TEACHER EVER!!! He is soooo funny and makes learning math FUN! never thought I'd EVER say that! I highly recommend taking him for ANY math class! Don't get me wrong though, it's not an easy math class. It is very challenging, but I like that.

He actually made me understand what he was teaching. If you didn't understand it, he would explain it a different way, and not make you feel stupid for not getting it the first time. He is a very animated teacher who obviously loves what he is doing. I agree with the others who reviewed him...he is the best math teacher I have ever had!

As you can see, everyone you will talk to says he is the best math teacher they have ever had. I went to his office for help *all* the time and got to know him very well. He is an incredible teacher, a good person, and very funny as well. He has been my inspiration to become an engineer.
