Great guy, has a very loose but educational classroom style. Really fun to get to know him, although you should show up to class. He likes participation and wants to have everyone involved. Overall, awesome and fun class experience.

He assigns a lot of reading homework (don't plan on finding the stuff on spark notes) and even if you read it, you probably won't get full credit on quizzes. He grades tough so if you're expecting an easy A, look somewhere else. He also makes you buy a 'interactive storybook' made by him so you have to pay 50$ for it.

Coppoc was a good professor overall, but I didn't entirely click with his teaching style. Discussions can get boring at times. There are two presentations required - VERY boring and repetitive to listen to. Essay type tests are easy to do well on if you pay attention in class. I would take a class from him again, but it wasn't my favorite.

Somewhat of a difficult course, but was very interesting to learn about. Really enjoyed his teaching style and the small class. Make sure to read the books! Attendance is important to understand everything you need to know for tests and quizzes. Very far from my major but I enjoyed it.

tons of busy work, which takes time but is easy. we had a presentation which i was horrified of because he gives you very little direction (on purpose) but i ended up getting an A on the presentation and the class. he is a laid back and easy going guy, and i got my A with minimal effort.

He's a good man. Great teacher. Fair grader, but don't expect any freebies. I learned a lot. Make sure you have strong Office skills. His voice reminds me of Mr. Van Driessen from Beavis & Butt-head. Also, I notice that someone rated him as "hot." That person needs to get their eyes checked because he looks like The Toxic Avenger to me.

I LOVED his creative non-fiction class. My only problem with him is that he's irresponsible at times. If he doesn't remember to do something, he will refuse to answer emails. We didn't get our final grades for weeks after the course had ended. Word to the wise: Don't ask him for a recommendation. He'll agree to it, but won't remember to do it.

Very nice guy & always willing to help. You can easily get an A if you actually devote the time to completing the assignments, even if you do see it as "busy work." However, he is over a week late submitting grades to the university.
