Dockal is amazing! He is extremely understanding if you need help or have any problems. His lectures can be kind of boring, though, a lot of print-screens. 3 pretty easy tests, straight from notes. Review for an hour or two before, and you'll do fine. No attendance policy. I definitely recommend him!

no attendance policy, so probably the reason for some people failing. i dragged my sleepy butt to class every class except one. I just kind of chilled and listened to him. The quizzes were difficult but i did not study for them. i studied like mad the night before for the final bc it is 50% of your grade, and i got an A in the class!

Well that was hard. Class was fun, but you need to read your book alot and study like mad. He has alot of pop quizzes and the information on them is completely random. The exam was very hard and not what I thought it would be like!

This class is f-ing hard. If you don't keep up in the textbook, you will find yourself quickly lost. The lack of attendance policy will also get you. The lab is pretty easy and far more informative than the lecture. The exams are ridiculously hard, I studied a lot each time and never got better than a C. The curve is your best friend in this class.

he's great.... humorous, good natured, and passionate about his subject. you can tell he just really wants his students to do well.... tests are semi-hard, but there's an awesome curve, no quizzes, no attendance, no papers, etc... take it!

Total ex-burner, but REALLY nice and fair (concerning grades). No attendance policy, but his tests are based primarily on the lecture notes he gives...so, go to class as much as possible! (Even though geology is a really boring subject) Anyway, Dockal is a great guy, you'll enjoy him.
