Ferreira certainly knows his stuff. He's been around the business world for years and its clear he knows whats going on in the world around us. Tends to lecture a lot and read off the slides to prepare you for the final, but the quizes are certainly helpful and he tries to make boring material slightly more fun. Hes also always available to talk to

This guy definitely knows his stuff. He lectures all through class and it gets pretty boring but he's a funny guy. Take home quizzes and Current events are easy. Business plan is a big deal. Doesn't scale the final exam since he grades you easier on the current events. I would definitely take him again.

I would recommend him. He grades the project kind of hard, but the take home quizes and current events are easy. Class is boring, but his jokes are funny. He would help you to a certain point on the project.

The take home quizzes are mad easy, the current event papers are too...but the killer is how he grades the projects. He's a funny guy, but the actual class periods are boring. I'd look for a prof who grades easier on the business plan, but I'd still recommend Ferreira.

Two words: Take him. His dry sense of humor and knowledge is one thing, but the take-home quizzes are easy and the three current events were easy A's if you put time into them. The Project is the one thing you need to clarify stuff about, but he's an excellent prof. The powerpoints get old after a while tho, but hey, for a GB, it's great.

great teacher..great guy and makes jokes in class that amuses him more than the class..adds to his character though..there are 3-4 short papers on current events..very easy..and there are quizes every week but they are take home so you just use your book..there wasn't a midterm..only a final...easy teacher and always helped me out, TAKE HIM!!!

Tests are impossible. Definition of "a mouse" in a computer class is not funny. Classes are boring, just chat on laptops. He's a good guy, but I would have taken another professor if I could do it again.

Take home quizzes are easy. Got As on currents events without spending much time on them. Final was sort of a joke to start with and then the answers were given before the test. Graded the group project a litle hard. I recomend taking this teacher

Learn the PowerPoint slides, skim through the textbook a lil bit. Quiz after every single chapter, Excel assignments, extra credit assignment. Prof Ferreira has a wicked dry sense of humor, yet he's very knowledgeable and wants you to do well. I'd highly recommend him for GB203! (I got a 3.7 and the amount of effort put in was not too much.)

All in all a pretty easy course. Everything that is on the test is on his PowerPoint slides. Excel assignments are incredibly easy to get an A. Just follow the instructions exactly and you won't have a problem. Tests are multiple choice, but are based upon the take home quizzes he gives out. I'd say take this professor.

Very nice guy, means well, but class is so boring! He reads off a powerpoint the entire time and then gives take home quizzes. Going to class is pointless, except attendance is mandatory. If you want an easy A, take him, but be prepared to fall asleep in his class.

The class isn't that bad because you can just go on IM the whole time. Not too much work, just do the excell assignments. However, the tests are all multiple choice and he makes it rediculously hard to get a good grade. So, if you want a 4.0, don't take this class. Prof is fun though.

Nice old man, but the assignment and tests are kinda rough. Its all excel and website design with group projects that are a ****. Class is alright because you can do whatever you want, but the tests are ridiculous and he finds the smallest things to mark wrong on your assignments to take points off...Good guy though

Funny old man... lame jokes, but he tells them on purpose, which makes them even funnier. Class is easy, all power points, and scantron tests. The excel problems aren't too bad, just DO THEM. As long as you go to class and sign the attendance sheet, you're golden. Facebook and IM to your heart's content.

Powerpoints for every class. Scantron homework quizzes after every chapter. Bring in your computer to class and surf on the net all day. Don't pay attention. Just get the 4.0
