Hands down the hardest I have ever worked for a B+. Loved his course. Prof. Griffis knows his material and goes over it until you know it. I almost had a panic attack when I saw the course was comprised of a workbook, but it was effective. Show up to class, participate, and do the work.

This is a waste of your time. Griffis is very boring and makes it difficult to pay attention. The class is not extremely difficult but if you get behind at all on one section you are screwed. I wish I had that time and money back I paid.

Dr. Griffis is a wonderful professor, I've learned so much. For those who are looking to take his class, know that you have to take criticism with a grain of salt. If you want to become wiser and progress in thinking logically then take him. Even though class is not mandatory, it is best if you do and the reflection will show your final grade.

Just a callous human being. Gets frustrated if you don't grasp logic as easily as he does. Absolutely zero empathy for those who are confused....STAY AWAY!!!

Jim Griffis is beyond a master of his field. He seems way overqualified to teach this class in my opinion, but he has a rare ability to reach those who have no idea about anything in regards to classic logic. To me the material is easy, I have taken logic before. But others struggle. If you show up for class and pay attention and have any sense, A.

Griffis' class is really hard and you have to attend if you want to get a good grade even though he says attendance is not counted. I had a 79.5 in that class and he did NOT round up to an 80, so he's not the nicest.

The class is very tough for some people but Dr. Griffis realizes that and is very helpful and very patient. He even holds tutoring sessions in his office. The only down side to him is he is a bit of a harsh grader and on his test his multible choice are VERY tricky meaning more than one or no answer can be right.Attendamce a must if you don't getit

Prof Griffis is beyond qualified for his job. He has something not all professors have--passion. The material isn't easy, but he's willing to help you.If a student needs extra help, he's happy to meet during office hours, responds promptly to all e-mails, and even provides his cell phone number, but you have to want to do well for yourself.

Proffessor Griffis is a pretty easy teacher. He is very very willing to explain something if you don't understand. He tries to make jokes but isn't that funny, but he is a great guy and this class is not bad at all.

Probably incapable of lecturing without his coffee cup, which I find endearing. This man actually makes dead, long-winded Greek guys sound interesting. Intense reading and writing assignments, but worth the effort. Also worth attending class for his sense of humor.

Awesome professor, funny and explains things in a way that makes sense. Doesn't take attendance, but you are graded on the homework. Tests are rather hard because in his multiple choice questions you check all that are correct, which gets tricky. If you take notes, you probably don't need the book, but he wrote it so it's useful and cheap.

He's a great professor. Very witty and fun to be taught by. His tests are cumulative so you have to retain all the information. He will help you as much as you ask him to, he's the tutor for Logic. Actually made me consider becoming a "logician."

I took his class online. He was an okay professor, but I didn't like getting graded on the "group" papers which really were just written by one person. He also arbitrarily graded the solo papers. I didn't like the fact that the "group work" brought my grade down 1/2 letter.
