Prior to taking this class I really dreaded the thought of a mandatory computer class. Now that I have taken this class I have considered picking up a CSIT minor along with my math major because I enjoyed it so much. Jim gets off topic a lot, but knows a lot and really want his students to succeed. Pay attention, go to class, and ask questions!

I took all of his classes. He is the embodiment of the absent minded professor, but this worked in his favor. We would often dive into things that he hadn't planned on since it came up on a tangent, thus I learned a lot more than I would have otherwise.
