I would never take him again in all honesty. It feels like a weird thing to say but he definitely failed me on my attitude of the class. I passed the tests with A's and did my homework yet failed his class. Not very helpful and not very kind.

He is a good teacher. The Assembly class is hard, so please don't skip or you will be lost. Always willing to help until you clearly understand. The book is a must have in order to understand the language of the course. He tells you in the beginning your learning curve will be slow but it will get easier throughout the semester

I have never taken a computer class like this before and it was all very new to me. Lawaich goes over everything to make sure that you understand. He is very fair with grading and will actually take time to help. The tests aren't that bad if you go to class and pay attention.

Jim is a great man! Class is entertaining. Far as Assembly. It HAS to be the HARDEST computer class. The book SUCKS. If you get lost in the beginning forget about it, just drop out! The Author of the book needs to write at a beginner level for this class. Good Luck to all those taking Assembly!! And good luck on trying to keep that GPA high!!
