A real gem. No matter your artistic level, he will inspire you, tell you which artists you paint/make work like, and always offer you helpful advice. He's a little cheeky, but in the best way. Plays music during class, lets you focus on your work most of the time. Lectures are short, and leaves choices up to you. I transferred and miss him so much!

Best professor in the Fine Arts department.. Maybe in the school. He's extremely kind and understanding. The assignments are interesting and open to interpretation. This isn't an easy A course though. You do need to work hard. He will answer any questions and he has a way of personally connecting with each student. Wonderful professor!

Professor Lee was so helpful. He was very open minded to his students artwork, where I find a lot of professors impose their own style onto students. It was a really fun and relaxing course, and he had some hilarious stories that he shared with the class.

So I suck at Art and was taking this class as an easy fun elective. It was def not easy, but a great time! Prof. Lee plays music and is really helpful for art newbies like me. If you work hard you'll get a good grade

Probably one of my favorite classes I've taken at Hofstra. It was by no means an easy A, but it was such a great class. Lee is awesome, plays music, and lets you chill and paint for 2 hours. Take this class and show you care- you won't regret it. Take him for a CP or just to broaden your horizons a bit!

Professor Lee is Amazinggg!! He is the nicest professor i have ever had here at Hofstra and the best. He does not rudely criticize your work or make you feel bad if your inexperienced in drawing or painting. As long as you go to class you'll do well. the only thing hes anal about is lateness

I came into this class with absolutely zero painting experience & I finished the 1st assignment thinking "wow, this is actually pretty good" bc Lee teaches you great techniques & is patient & 100% helpful. His class is not an easy A but if you want a class as a creative outlet & a relaxing time take this. You wont regret it!

Ok I suck at painting and this guy likes my stuff, in fact he likes everyone's stuff. He really knows how to make you feel good about your work. Bring in your ipod and chill out. The guy is cool, Tribe Called Quest! this guy plays the old school stuff. He loves all music.
