Very nice professor who really cares about his students. Do the extra hws problem or else you won't pass and go to office hours if you need help. It's easy to fall behind in this course. Overall, he is a good teacher but this requires a lot of self-studying. Three exams that you must study for and you'll be fine.

One of the best professors I've ever had a Rutgers. He seriously cares about everyone too. If you don't do the optional homework you won't pass, but math classes are about practicing anyways. Easy A.

He is a very kind person and he genuinely wants his students to do well. I can tell he cares a lot about this course and his students. If you keep up with the work, you'll be fine. If you need any help, just ask him! He might not understand your question in lecture but talk to him right after class and he will make sure you get it.

He's a great professor! Even though he teaches the Matlab section and people tend to avoid Matlab it's definitely worth taking his class. He's VERY clear, his notes are great. During class he'll tell you what to expect on the final. There are no surprises or curve balls on the exams or quizzes. He genuinely wants people to well in the class.

He's really organized and is a fair grader.Although he tends to stutter, he does a good job at making the info as clear as possible. If you keep up with the work, the quizzes will be really easy. Hw's take a few hrs but is easy. Also, make sure you understand theorems very well for exams. There's always a question to state some rule word for word.

A great professor. Has a little trouble communicating but taught all of the concepts very well throughout the semester. Gives out old exams for review and held a review session with another professor. Go to the lectures, and do your HW and you'll do fine. Also, one of the very few professors that tries to remember everyone's names.

Nice guy, but really hard exams. The TA wasn't helpful either. Studied hard, but failed everything. Wish I didn't switch professors thinking I would have an easier time. Hopefully retaking the course with a different professor

He is really approachable and friendly for the most part. His exams are awful. I failed them and I studied a LOT for them too and did not slack..I rather have a mean teacher who grades well than a nice teacher who makes hard exams. Just sayin.

He does seem to fumble around a little, but he has an interest in students doing well. He knows his stuff, just has a hard time communicating it. If you do the HW, and ask him questions, you'll do fine. Know what the proofs are about in 250; his exams don't ask you to prove things explicitly, but you need to know them.

He should not be teaching this course, He should be teaching 151, 152 or 251, Linear Algebra does not fit him. He gives hard exams in this class. I don't think he's a bad professor, just Linear Algebra does not suit him well.

Very kind and encouraging to his students. If you're not doing too well, make some time for his office hours and he will help you, and I guarantee you won't do as bad as you may think. Easy to get a hold of him before class if you have questions, but he tends to take off like a bullet after class ends! Overall, a nice, non-intimidating guy.

He is an easy professor but his lectures are extremely BORING!! He teaches right out of the book. So use the book and you will be fine. Do the HW for practice for the exams. Exams kind of hard and based on HW problems. Remember this is one of the hardest math courses offered here.

Not the type of professor who writes abstract formulas/proofs on the board and expects you to understand them. Lectures devoted to understanding material-very detailed. 2 Midterms, most from homework and few from Lecture discussions. His TA is really good too. Final exam not too bad- the homework was harder than his final.

His lectures were pretty dull and the class size dwindled down, but it wasnt because of him. The material is just boring. He is a great professor though, shows you exactly what you need to know for the exam and exam problems are very similar or identical to textbook problems. always willing to help students and stays late after class daily to help
