Owens as a person is pretty neat and talks about current events dealing in finance. However, when it comes to teaching you how to do it dont expect much. Youll have to teach yourself.

Easy class, consisted of 3 papers due about a month apart. He responds to emails fairly quickly, and since you have to form your own opinion on the topics the content is actually quite interesting to research.

This class was not too bad. I had to write three papers. I am a solid writer, so that helped. There was one essay which I felt like I did not understand the topic of it at all, but I still made a good grade. If you are not a good writer, get some feedback from the Writing Center to help improve your grade.

This was an incredibly tough class. This man is super intelligent. He is a Harvard grad. Do not expect this class to be easy. It is extremely difficult. I do wish Dr. Owens would get a GA so that emails would be answered. Read your textbook. Tests are difficult. Homeworks are easier grades.

Dr. Owens is one of those professors who you can tell knows plenty about the subject he teaches, but doesn't have the first clue as to how to teach. Sadly, he's the only prof that seems to teach FIN6320.
