I had him for 1123 and LOVED him. I have him now for 2023 and STILL LOVE HIM! He will help you with any problem you have and will not get angery if you don't understand. He had the patients of Jobe! Great Professor and you WILL use nearly every thing he teaches you in the "real world", so Pay attention!

Dr Payne is helpful and really wants everyone to do well in his class. Do the work and you won't have too much trouble. My only complaint is his voice is a bit monotone, like Grandpa reading a bedtime story. Don't take this class early AM or right after lunch, because sitting in BAH 219 with the lights dimmed is a guaranteed nap.

Professor Payne is very helpul and articulate. His recorded lectures are extremely beneficial; if you cannot remember how to do something, you just watch him do it again from the comfort of your room. It is a neccesity to do your homework and keep up but if you do then the class is pretty easy.

Easy class as long as you do what he tells you to do. Very clear in what he wants. If he isn't, just ask. Easy to approach. Answers every email by next day usually. Online lectures are really helpful. You either get a really good grade, or a really bad one.
