She is not a good teacher. Took her while I was still in highschool trying to get ahead on my basics..she made me think twice about college! if this is how it was going to be i wanted nothing to do with it. She's rude and does not look like she enjoys her job.

I took her class, and yes, to a degree she's a little off, but, I think it's because of the amount of retards that take her class and expect to get by with poorly written papers. She teaches her class at a college level, and overall, I liked how blunt she was, even if I didn't agree with her, she pushed me to do better. I appreciated that.

I wouldnt take her again, she is very rude and i believe that sometimes she is so tired that she has no patience at all with students, she wants you to think her way and she thinks that she is teachin high school she can put you in evidence in front of everybody.I believe that she is very smart but I dont think that she loves teaching any more.

I think she's awesome. She's a little odd sometimes. And I understand why she gets frustrated with her students when no one is responding to her. She tends to digress A LOT and gets sidetrack very easily. And she does give As!! I would take her again but not at 7am. She's your typically language of the arts teacher. I like her.

The class is really easy but VERY boring. She's a strange lady. For example, she sings bible hymns almost everyday and assumes everyone is Christian. I did not learn much in the class, there was practically no emphasis on interpreting the literature. She just lectures about the plot and summary of the stories and poems. I did not learn much.

Do not take if you want to learn something about English. However, if you want to hear her opinion on...just about anything, then definitely take her. She won't explain things in great detail. I like English, but I hate taking it with her. Pass on her if you have the choice.

I don't understand students who go to school to not do school work. Ms. Farrar expects things to be done properly and will penalize works that do not. As for her saying Freshmen don't know anything, she's right for the most part, most Freashmen have never even lived outside of their parents' house... deal. Fantastic professor.

I won't say that I hate her, but she definately isn't a good teacher. Her tests are easy, her work is straight-forward, but she is a very harsh grader when it comes to papers. She's also very opinionated and rude, but only towards men, really. I'm afraid I won't pass her big essay :( I've always made high A's in the past, until now.
