If you need to take a 400-level Psych class and you don't care about actually learning anything, take Dr. Cannon. She didn't teach once the entire semester, cancels class if students say they don't feel like being there that day, and the only assignments are short writings about studies. Easy class, nice lady, but disorganized & you learn nothing.

Professor seems to be over joyed about you using "her book" and hung up that she's a Dr., and don't forget, her book is over $200! The physical quality and content of the book is absolutely horrible (typos, bad grammar, you name it). I asked for help a few times from her and didn't get anywhere. First time I've written 1 of these. Stay away!

Her book is horrible, I found several typos and along with her online lectures are written very unclear. You take multiple choice exams every two weeks, so if you don't take exams well, you may have a hard time. (exams +65% final grade). She was available and graded the written assignments very fairly. I would have liked a different professor.

Although the price and content of her text book is ridiculous, her class is very interesting and worth taking. You put in the effort, you will do well. She is very responsive to questions and very fair when grading. I recommend this professor!

Not a good teacher at all. Boring lectures and overall not really helpful. She wants everyone to buy her book that is $290..its so useless and so unorganized. You can just use the one in the library. I don't recommend taking her

I have taken Psych of Pers and Seminar in Pers with Prof. Canon. She is the most helpful prof I've had so far and although the first few assn/disc may be confusing (her notes are a bit confusing) she responds quickly with exactly what she wants. After, just follow instruction to get good grades. I learned a lot in both classes.

Pretty easy class, make sure you do assignments, tests are "eh" but keep up with assignments and do a good job on the presentation and you will def. get a good grade. Try to be in class, she said attendance was required but I know people who did not show up. Overall good class and recommended

Worst professor I have had. I was extremely excited to take this class and it has been the biggest disappointment in my coursework thus far. Lecture notes look and book like they were written by a child - multiple colors, fonts, highlights, etc - very distracting. Tests incomprehensible, even with Google. Asked for help and got no direction.

One of the best professors I've had so far. She know what she's talking about, and she cared about us getting good grades. Yes, her textbook is awful, but if you put in the effort, it's an easy A. I would recommend her to anyone, even if you're not a Psych major.

Seminar-Personality. Took this course online (mistake). Her text is very hard to read and follow. She is not very helpful with questions. Replies with, "Go back and read my notes..." Wish I would have taken the course in class. Overall, not hard and learned how to do a complete case study.

As others mentioned, textbook is HORRIBLE, both in content and quality. Scattered and difficult to follow lectures. Seems to have genuine interest in student success, but then cripples the class with inconsistent data and instruction. More history of psych than application. Disappointed in the class over all.
