She is an amazing professor. Gives three exams and it is all based upon what she speaks about in class. You get to chose 3 out of 4 questions on exams. Everything she says write down and study off of that. You'll pass no doubt, very relaxed professor and down to earth. I recommend taking her class it was great. Learned a lot and enjoyed it!

She's really nice and it's an easy A. But the lectures are just that--lectures, no participation whatsoever. And 1 time when she was teaching us the things she said didn't actually happen in the book, she was referencing the play and teaching us wrong material! Oops! You don't actually HAVE to read, the tests are on her lectures, but reading is fun

Great lady. Just had to take notes on everything she says. THIS IS HELPFUL. trust me! if you don't take the notes or skip more than one class forget it on the midterm your toast. she talks funny but it goes with her persona. Just do well on the midterm and final and READ READ READ!!!

Easily one of the best professors at WPU. Knows her stuff-passionate about ENGL. Nice woman and great teacher. Answers all questions and is very clear. No homework, little reading. 3 tests, no midterm, no final. Show up, listen, and you'll ace it like I did. :)

Hartman is the best! I've taken her for 3 different classes and the format is always the same. No papers, 4 essay style exams. She gives you EVERYTHING you need for the essay questions during lecture. So just go to class and take notes. It's very difficult to fail. She lets you know EXACTLY what she expects. Love her!

Professor Hartman is amazing, this is my fourth class with her and I want to take more. She is straight forward gives you pertinent information and the 3 tests are very straight forward, if you took notes you'll do fine. There is a lot of note taking and she takes attendance everyday which will help in your final grade, so go to class!

One of the best at WPU!Knows her material & explains everything clearly.Only gives 3 tests & doesnt try to trick you on them.She does give alot of notes but it will benefit you because the tests are based on those notes.Overall shes a great teacher and should definitely be taken without any hesitation or worry.
