Very unorganized. Gave my class 5 major papers within the last 2 weeks of the semester. Don't expect to ever get any papers back. She takes forever to grade anything. Very boring classes. You don't learn anything. Wouldnt recommend taking if you're looking to get something out of ENG111.

Ms. Schell is a very dry teacher and many people fall asleep during her class, but she never says anything about it and just continues teaching. She is very kind and she loves to critique papers. We haven't had a single test this semester, she rarely hands out homework, and when she does, it's usually a paper you have 1+ weeks to write.

She is very unorganized, and has no idea what she is talking about. She gave 6 papers the week before finals, and they required a lot of work. Also, it takes her months to grade, and don't give her papers to proof read because you will never get them back. If you are an A student, don't expect to get higher than a B- on her papers.

I looked her up on here before I took her and saw all the great feedback. Thi semester however is different from all he reviews. It took her 10 weeks to grade anything. We got 4 papers 2 of them being large projects in the last 3 weeks because she got so far beind. There is also no organization at all, I have no clue what goes on in this class.

Ms. Schell is a wonderful person. She is such a sweet lady, but her lectures are long and boring. She truly cares about all of her students. If you have a choice take her. You will absolutely get an A if you turn in every assignment. (She proof reads them all, and gives you a chance to correct them.) It should be an easy 100%.

She is wonderful. Very kind and understanding to her students and their needs. Class can be a little dry but she tries her best to add a little subtle humor. Not many assignments but is very thorough explaining what needs completed for the final paper.

Very easy class. she is very understanding and gives you plenty of time to do assignments which there aren't many, mainly just a few journals and a 4-8 page paper due at end of semester. goes over notes and hand outs thoroughly, if you don't pass you must have always skipped...oh and she loves her cats :)

so cute, very quite and shy. very easy!! she goes over the same thing for 12 classes. doesn't give us alot of work because "some of us have kids and animals to take care of" she loves cats!! most of the time class is boring but i'd rather have it boring than hard.

Awesome teacher. Misses more classes than students did. Very understanding. Dry and boring but tries to spice things up w/ youtube vids. Easy A. She gives you handouts from the text. We had about 6 or more journals due this semester but only got to do 2 plus 1 paper. Ms. Shell is awesome! :D She even brought pretzels to class for St. Patty's day.
