Took Cataldo twice she really cool and is there for you. She can go off topic but no big deal to me. She let me turn in my final early since I was expecting and I had missed the last day because I was hospitalized. She was cool with it.

One of the worst professors I've had at Delta College. She has hilarious stories but her teaching method is a joke. She can be very harsh and made me never want to talk in front of a crowd again. Aren't teachers suppose to help you do better? Easy class but i'd never take it with her again. You only have to purchase one small book and it's cheap.

Cataldo gets off topic very easily so class is usually very disorganized. She can be sometimes rude or insensitive to other students, but not all the time. Her feedback and instructions are very clear. I'm not a speaker-type person but if you just practice your speeches multiple times, and you'll do just fine. She doesn't use the textbook either.

she is easy but rude to other students. For a communications professor she is ignorant and inpatient with students in DSPS. Be sure to log in your work because she is forgetful and disorganized when it comes to logging in assignments.

Don't buy the textbook you won't ever use it, only her instruction manual. She can be really rude to her students and vicious at grading you in front of the class after you do your speech. 3 speeches total if you're never late or miss class and 4 speeches if you do. Follow the outline for your speech! Very important or she'll dock so many points.

The class is very disorganized and it's pretty funny. Because the class was so disorganized and left all of us wondering what to do, she incidentally taught us interpersonal communication because we were forced to work together to try and pass the class. Once you get into the groove, its easy. You need her instructional booklet.

A very great class!! If you're someone that is very shy then I'd definitely recommend Cataldo! She would make you come out of your shell! Her way of teaching makes you interact with everyone In the class so it makes you less nervous during your speeches. I love Cataldo; she was hilarious and made the class so fun!

Cataldo's class is extremely disorganized, she is not a good teacher, and you will not learn anything useful. The class is supposed to get through 6 speeches but expect to only do 3. You can get an A as long your speeches have pictures or follow her outline exactly, but who cares about how you deliver it.

You'll do about three to four speeches, and you won't have to dress up. She has a good sense of humor, a lot of stories, and offers A LOT of extra credit. Her speech system is chaotic and disorganized, and she can be really critical and vicious. She goes off on tangents so the speech schedule is all muddled then she blames you.

Professor Cataldo makes speech fun. You don't need to buy the textbook but you will need her instructional package. Follow the speech formats EXACTLY from her book & you will do well. Take this class accelerated because there's only time for 3 speeches. Go to class & don't leave early otherwise you will have to give an impromptu speech @ the end.

I took this professor during the summer. She's a great teacher and pretty straight forward. She can get off topic sometimes, but she's hilarious. If you don't do well on your speeches, she gives away extra credits. Make sure you do all your speeches and come to class. SHE'S ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSOR I TOOK AT DELTA.

I really like this instructor! She tells you exactly how she feels and is a straight shooter. You don't need the text book, so don't buy it! Just go to the library. She likes to talk a lot and gets a little off subject but you'll come to like her stories. I strongly suggest you take her if you need communications 1A. I took her over the summer.

I absolutely LOVED her class! One of my favorite at Delta! Make sure you're always prepared for your speeches though & you'll be good to go! And you also dont need text book.. the only time you'll really need it is for the take home test, but id suggest just going to the library that day. It'll save you money!

EASIEST CLASS IN THE WORLD. you really don't have to try in this class and you can get an A. 150 pts of extra credit offered throughout the semester, and speech topics are pretty simple. She grades them kind of hard, but you can make it up in extra credit. She talks SO SO, SO, SO, SO MUCH!! It is funny though. Cool professor. Kills time easily.

Don't buy the book. Using the green packet is all you need. Make sure you do every speech and try to get as much extra credit as possible. She may not be clear at times but you have to grow up at some point. Started out not liking her but she grows fond of the class towards the end of the year.

Cataldo is "interesting". The class couldnt be easier. If you dont get an A youre an idiot. ya write the speech, ya say the speech, ya follow the guide lines, ya get an A.In negative aspects she can be a bit of a shrew. Rude, insulting of ones intellect, and childish in a self centered way. Outta 10 I give her class a 9 only cause she was there.
