This class was ok. She gives a ridiculous amount of reading, which I did not read. The lectures are boring one day and interesting the next. If I did not have to take her class I wouldn't have.

Her lectures will be hard to follow if you do not read the textbook. She is helpful and willing to discuss context of class. Exams are primarily from the text. At first I did not enjoy the class but once I learned the flow and READ, I learned a great deal.

She is not an easy A, but if you work hard, take notes, read, and completely rework your papers before submission, you will do fine. She is demanding, but it is because she expects a lot from herself, the profession, and that trickles down to you. You are in the drivers seat with her. Do as she says, you'll do fine.

She is fair and explains the material with clarity and understanding.She is preparred most of the time, but will quickly make changes if she is not,so you should be preparred.No skimming, trust me.Tests are fair is you read thoroughly.She is opinionated,keep yours to yourself during her instruction time. She is a nice teacher but she is very strict. I went to class everyday and took lots of notes. You must read the book in order to pass the test. Sometimes tests are based on lecture and sometimes readings, so it gets tricky. Overall I made a B, which I struggled for.

Very talkative and nice. Must read the book and all other materials in order to pass tests. You must attend class and take lots of notes, sometimes the whole test is based on lecture and not the chapters that are to be read. Overall she is nice but strict.

I love this professor, little crush on her - she is BRILLIANT, assertive and just plain cute! Great teaching methods but yes she doesnt play around - do your part and all will be okay.

She demands you to think and apply theories and reading is a must!! She is not interested in your opinion unless you support it with theories. She is upbeat and lectures great. If your looking for an easy grade...keep looking. Work is required for an A. I've taken her 3x earned 2A's & 1B. Notice I said EARNED!! Not given!

I took her for Social Work and I totally regret it. She gave me a 'C' in the class b/c a had a few grammer errors on my paper, like this is a damn english class, and I was 2pts from a 'B'. She doesnt give enough extra credit to even help and you MUST attend lectures and READ the book. Nobody in my class ever made an "A" I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER!!

She is a nice teacher. Very bubbley for a Sat Morn. But...she says one thing about the test and delivers another. She is hard to follow with notes because she bounces around so much!!! I was very interested in the class before the semester but she is hard to follow. The class discussion is good but the test is horrible!!!!

She's engaging, funny, and wonderfully prepared. Enjoys the play between students and herself, but has control most of the time. Took two classes with her and would take another if it fit my senior schedule. If you can write and like to read, you'll enjoy her.

I took professor Bailey this last semester and she was great. I can honestly say she's one of the best teachers I've had. I took her for sex roles and passed all exams with B's. The only people who will make anything below an A or a B in her class are those who put absolutely no effort into the class.

SHE IS A VERY NICE PERSON, AND HER LECTURES ARE VERY FUN TO LISTEN TO, HOWEVER, WHEN ITS TIME TO TAKE HER TEST, THEY ARE HARD. SHE MAKES IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE.

Dont take her for sex roles. She teaches the class like upper level class when its not. She has too mant expectations for lower level so dont take her if u are not a soc. major.
