She seems to really care about students, for as much as I can infer from taking a 4 week class over intersession. She supplied very good videos for the lectures needed to do problems sets, although some required looking into the book to teach yourself. I probably would have done better in a normal semester or in the classroom as math is my weakness

She is by far the worst teacher I have ever had in all my years as a student. She does NOT teach clearly whatsoever. She is very ignorant when you ask a question, I think she has ADHD or something because she is never quiet and always talking when were trying to work. Also, when you ask her to work out a problem, she doesn't follow through with it.

She is very nice but when it comes to math? Forget it. I got the feeling that she didn't like me, for whatever reason? When I would ask for help she was cold. She is TOUGH. You must teach yourself in this class, don't waste your time, get a different prof. Some of the material on quizzestest she didn't even teach and still gave the test? Come on.

I think she is a great teacher.. took her class this semester, and our HW we had to sumbitted online and she gives quizes every week. What i didnt like much is that you have to teach youreself, because she will not explain everthing.

Mrs. K was my favorite professor this semester. She's eccentric but wonderful. The math is difficult to grasp if you haven't done any logical math prior to her class, but if you ask her for help she will ALWAYS give it to you. She urges attendance and that plus doing the homework basically assures you a good grade.

I have to say I enjoyed math and I did enjoy the class but we had to deal with imaginary numbers and its hard to wrap your head around the concept and I still don't get it I recommend if you don't get the class the first few sessions than switch to either dave perkins or Pisano

Nice prof. will help you, but ive gone much farther than intermediate algebra(going beyond calculus next semester), and i honestly believe her class was the hardest ive ever taken. Quizzes every day, 13 of them dont count.

She sucks. Doesnt explain material when you ask a question she basically tells you that your stupid and should be in the lower class, the same class i earned an A in.I did all of the homework and then some and still had no clue. You are expected to teach yourself and to use the tutoring center. She wastes half the class taking a daily quiz. RUN!
