I had Jodi for several classes between 2000-2002. She made an enormous impact on my artistic life. I still think about and discuss things that she taught me. She is a great teacher and trust me, if her class is hard, it WILL pay off in the end!!!! A++++++

My father passed away and I missed one assigment. The teacher told me to drop the class since i missed the first assigment. She encouraged me to take it in the summer for a so called fresher start. She was not understanding at all!!!!! I will stay in the class to prove to her I cand do well.

Took the course online a while back. I thought it was very good. Actually I really liked it! It takes some creativity to get a good grade, but stick it out, put some time into it, and you won't do bad. She was good with communication though I never needed to see her in person.

At first, I hated Jodi with a bleeding passion. After I took her classes, I realized how she had pushed me to do better for myself. Some of my best work I completed in her class. So if you're willing to commit to hard work with a great payoff, stick to it, have a hard head, follow instructions, and you'll succeed.

Also had her for design 2, painting, art history 1 and understanding art. Definitely better teacher for understanding art (for mainly non-art majors) than any other class. Projects must reflect her ideas not your own. Also, had favorites. If you were not one of her favorites, good luck getting help.

She grades very hard. Nothing is really ever good enough for her. She's very helpful, but maybe a little too helpful...everything pretty much has to be done her way. You have to draw the same thing over and over. It's a very hard, tiring class that takes a lot of work.

Different material, same crap. Very smart, knows her stuff, but can't communicate. TERRIBLE at explaining her thoughts, ideas, material - anything. Very unclear. VERY. UNCLEAR. Wears her femenism on her sleeve and lectures about eating fruits/veggies. BAD
