One of the best teachers at this school. I learned so much from that class. He likes to get to know his students, so going to office hours is a must! Any questions I had about my assignments, he answered clearly. He sends out lots of articles to your email, even after the class has ended, but they are really interesting & relevant. Awesome teacher.

Joe is the smartest man in the music program... possibly the whole school. He's tough, and there's a good reason to his madness. He'll kick your butt, and at the end of the semester you'll look back and see how much you learned about events that are pertinent to the industry. It's simple: try hard and you'll do well.

He is confident, tells you like it is (whether you like it or not), and knows what he's talking about because he is highly experienced. sometimes i think he is over qualified to teach us. it's a honor to be in his class. you better be ready to work too. if not, he will call you out - not pretty. he so funny & rocks!

He is exactly how a teacher should be. He teaches with clarity and excitement. It is easy to see that he knows what he is talking about and that he loves it. He won't take any crap, which motivates me to work hard and sincerely. I highly recommend this teacher.
