Joe is a down to earth guy. I respect him. Take him if you are anxious about public speaking, because he lets you know that everyone, even him, has that anxiety. He also lets out early for when we're just learning how to give the types of speeches, which is so great.

If you're looking for an easy gen ed, take him for speech. He wants to make everyone as comfortable as possible when speaking. 3 speeches, a group speech, and a couple of other assignments that you submit online. I took his night class but it was completely worth it. Almost always let us out early, very laid-back and approachable. Take him!!

Professor Deluccia was honestly the best when it came to speech. I have high levels of anxiety and speaking in front of people and with him a professor, all that anxiety went away. You have a total of 3 individual speeches and 1 group speech. They are all pretty easy but you must put in the work for it. The classes are long and late but he is great

Joe is one of the best speech professor's in the communications department. This guy will make you laugh in class, and will make the class fun and engaging. There are three speeches and one group speech which can raise or lower your grade depending on who in the class are you assigned with. He provides outlines for each speech and gives feedback!

He is a very easy grader, he is very understanding and wants you to be comfortable public speaking especially in his class. If you do the work and show that you are trying it is easy to do well. The "final" is a take home test that is so easy it's almost a joke. He's a nice dude but a little monotone, but hell it's worth it for the easy A

Great instructor. Speech class is often thought of as the death of some people. However, Joe (yes he tells us to call him by his first name) is an awesome guy and really cool. Not difficult at all. He makes speech class fun and easy.

Great teacher to an awful course. He makes it enjoyable and effortless. If you take a night class we never stayed until the end. We frequently got out an hour or more earlier. Don't buy textbook NOT NEEDED. He suggests to buy it but.....I got a 100 in the class without buying it. Just do the speeches.

Joe is the man. I hate hate hate making speeches (who doesn’t?) but he made the class so comfortable and his expectations clear that I actually didn’t mind it. 3 speeches you make on your own, a final group speech, one written assignment and an at-home final. You don't need the textbook. He's so chill, I highly recommend taking his class!

The Jack Black of professors. He is so funny, and has so many great stories to tell. He's a really great professor! And even though the class should go till 8 we always get out by 7 or 730! Definitely take the class!! Easy A!

He is the perfect professor for this class! nobody wants to do public speaking even though its a requirement and he makes it easy and painless. He is so nice and very chill. He is awesome! Makes speech fun and I learned a lot. If you get anxiety like me from making speeches, you NEED to take him. I took speech two times before his class and always dropped because of nerves. Because of his class I finally stuck it out and got an A!

Okay everyone I'm a horrible speaker. I get very nervous and panic. Joe helped me overcome that fear. I hate public speaking so much but this guy really makes you feel comfortable. He helps you get to know the classmates really well and not feel afraid speaking. if your like me than this class is for you. I got an A in this class. Take him. Easy A.

REALLY great professor. he understands that almost everyone naturally gets nervous before speaking in front of people. he's very helpful & kind. you'll definitely become a better speaker after his class. take his class & you won't regret it!
