He is an amazing professor. As someone who is in ML and I have seen how people take his jokes. It's literally that, jokes. All of those "wussies" he stands by and comforts. He is a tough teacher but I would definitely take his class again.

Dunn's classes are engaging and animated, and I always come out of class with a better understanding of the material. Dr. Dunn does expect a lot out of students but it's never unreasonable. Dunn is an engaging professor who always has his students' best interest in mind.

I am a graduate student and receieved my degree in History. This teacher is the worst teacher ever! He tells you to do journals, checks them and says their good then hands them back to you with a F (if male). He thinks he is the smartest person in the world so he is a prick! He does pick favorites! *For anyone who doesnt like talked dont take him!*

Although Dr. Dunn is extremely smart, his arrogance works against him as an educator. Not only is he rude to most students, he is very chummy with his ML groupies. Without a doubt, he is a great scholar, but his teaching and interpersonal skills leave much to be desired. And what's up with him and that stick?

Dr. Dunn is an excellent teacher, very informative, discussions are largely student-driven...sometimes he does do too little to control/guide the class, however, and he can come off as having the "my way is the ONLY right way" sort of mindset. Still, every class with him has proven to be enriching and even invaluable to my college experience.

Dr. Dunn is smart, but he's also a smart ass. He's who he is and there is no changing him. You either love him or hate him. Also, he's been known to cause wussies to cry in class. Just know your stuff and you'll be fine.

The fact that Dr. Dunn cares about his students is what makes him endearing. He teaches them not only the content of the class but how to learn. His approachibility and obvious love for his job makes him a great teacher. Thank you for everything.
