i took his 8 week online course. If you want a good grade you will defintely have to work for it...15 homework assignments and 5 projects and 3 tests(that were sooo long)..overall he will help you if he sees u r putting forth the effort..

I took this class online and it was fairly easy. For h/w you have to answer the first three questions in each chapter (12 chps). There is a individual proj and a group pro. Both are easy (I put my individual proj together in 3-4 hours). His test counts as 50% of your grade. I aced everything except my two test and still passed the class

I took this class online and I underestimated it. I thought it would be super easy, but it really wasn't. I really didn't apply myself because I thought I would just whiz through it since I have a lot of computer hands on experience, but there is A LOT I still don't know. The professor is very laid back. Great class. I would recommend him to anyone

This is a required class if you are going into the I.T. field. I would recommend that when you take it, make sure you get Prof. Fowler. He made you want to be there. It was very easy to learn the material and all of the tests were online, at home tests. Take this class!!!

Excellent, highly qualified teacher. He does use blackboard. Lots of bookwork; but easy stuff. Online/open book tests. Material can be dry but the professor is GREAT!!

The class was not hard and he is willing to let you redo homework and projects over and over until they are right. I think I'm getting a low grade because of the test. Just use your book. I got to be to lazy to get my book so I did not do well on the test but they are not hard.

Just do the work; don't worry about the garde. The concept is to learn SOMETHING; not everything. READ closely at the syllabus and gard book. I failed 3 out of 4 test and STILL received an A. GOOD PROFESSOR!

his class was ok at the first few weeks then just BORING all he talked about was stupid sports and news (not computers) he did not prepare you or what would be on the test and his grading scale is CRAZY (91 is a B) over all a nice guy, i had a c+ for my final grade and he bumped it up to a A so i could keep a 4.0 how bad can he be?

He doesn't use blackboard to communicate with students, the only possible way to communicate with him is to use the FCCJ email, which doesn't always work for me or others I know. Only take him if you wish to read a long syllabus and hope to remember everything you read.
