You won't learn a single thing about sociology, but if your like most of us doing this for a GE, then its an easy A which is all that matters. Tests require little studying, pretty much common sense. Lectures are dreadfully boring (very monotonemello) and useless, but he takes attendance multiple times. Thankfully he plays a LOT of movies.

Nice guy. Boring class. He takes attendance daily (sometimes twice a class) and it counts for 15% of your final grade. He gives a study guide a day before the test that is very helpful and his tests are not always easy, mostly the wording makes it a little harder.

Class was very boring. He would talk about whatever he felt like each day which usually had no relevance to the class. Took notes about 10x total. We would also watch some movies. No homework. Only graded on tests which were pretty simple. Tested on a few textbook definitions and whatever the movies were on, sometimes a few things from the notes.

Half the time we watched movies and were tested on it. 2 tests and one final. He gave out an extra credit report at the end for those who wanted to do it. Not so clear because he rambles about the most randomest things. Study your past tests you took before the final, it helps a lot! The book helps as well, even though I hardly even read it.

Easy A without a doubt. The guy is a nut and makes no sense but who cares. You watch movies in class ALWAYS. He tells you which pages to read for each test and if you study those pages you'll ace both midterms and the final. He takes attendance but if you have a friend to switch off signing you in you'll only have to go half the time

talks in circles. Nice guy, tons of movies, class is mandatory which is dumb. because you will learn nothing in class and attendance is 10% of the grade. Rest of the grade based on the three tests, which you can do well in if you pay attention to the movies and study the study guide. Lectures are useless.

Fairly easy class, he shows a lot of movies but kind of hard to understand when he talks. You can get at least a C+ or B from studying the study guides he gives out before the test, which is usually the night before.

Extremely easy class. Makes you sign in for attendance but the class is incredibly boring. Go sign in and leave, use his study guides and youll get an a on the exams. Cant understand a word he says but overall an easy a/b

He is a bit unorganized. I don't know what to say but he moves exams because he doesn't give out the study guide on time. Also, we learn history in sociology? I couldn't see the connection in some stuff we learn. But exams are not so bad. I got an A- for barely doing anything.

1st couple classes its difficult to stay awake or understand how anything he says is relevant. But DO the readings and it will help A LOT, no other hw. Gives you all the key topics, notes, page #'s to study for tests--which are straight from those. Easy A if you study & attend, although I got a B having not read as much. Good prof, wants u to pass!

Really would recommend taking another professor if you think understanding the lecture is essential. Hard to understand anything he says, often goes off topic .. Does offer review guides which will help on the test. Class is pointless and no need to attend but he makes attendance mandatory which makes you feel like you're waisting your time .

It was so hard to understand anything he said or explained. His notes were just scribbles all over the board and overall it was so boring. The tests are not too hard, and the final was extremely easy. He never tell you your grade throughout the semester either. Easy to get a high grade if you go to most of the classes.

I would highly recommend to not take this class. I am sure this professor is a nice guy but he does NOT care about the class. It is really hard to follow his lectures because you don't really learn anything specific which makes the tests pretty hard as well because you have no idea what will be on it. He is hard to get ahold of or to ask for help.

This class is a joke. Forget a syllabus, forget any test prep, forget a study guide! heck, forget even knowing where in the book you are. He doesn't teach. and don't even begin to believe that since no teaching will mean easy tests. NOPE. he 100% doesn't write them and they are pretty hard. at one point he lost mine and many others test/scantrons.
