Comment:

I did not like this professor in the beginning. Sometimes she can be a little bit unclear as to what is to expected. Once I learned her routine and how she expects things done, I did very well and enjoyed the class. She really loves writing and is encouraging. She also offers extra credit which really helps!

Very poor grading system. If you miss an assignment she pretty much fails you not even counting the A work you did, and on participation, attendance. Very disappointed after approaching her with assignment difficulty. Avoid.

she's an awful teacher and she doesn't explain her lectures very well. There's no extra credit to bring the grades up and she also give very bad in grades. she also very rude in email and she dont help her students especially if you ask for help.

Professor Locher was by far the most unclear professor that Ive ever had. I never knew when papers were due, and was always confused about what she wanted in papers. Class time was constantly listening to her lecture, it was rarely hands on. Would not recommend her for English 151 or any other English class!!!!!!

She was absolutely awful. She was rude through e-mail and on discussion boards when I had questions on assignments. Worst Professor I've had. She used student examples with errors on them and even her own examples had errors on them. If she critiques your writing, it doesn't have good feedback on how you could change. Would've dropped her class.

She gives assignments without clear due dates. She is very unorganized. I would advise against taking her class period, but I definitely wouldn't online. She lacks direction when it comes to assignments. I highly advise to find another English professor.

She is not a good professor at all, she changes her mind often. She had us write a police report and to just google to find a layout, then when she graded mine said "where's the layout?", because of that I got 60/100. Her class is easy but her grading sucks, I had to drop the class because there was no way for me to pass even if I got a B in future

Wonderful teacher! She was very clear on what she wanted on assignments, and answered any questions I had. She requires one group project, and there is a long report or a newsletter project at the end. The only test is a final exam, as long as you read the book when she tells you to, you'll do fine on it. I would definitely take her again.

RUDE! She does NOT explain the assignments and instead posts examples of past students work with ERRORS. Follow the guidelines and turn in the assignment on time and still there is no way you will receive an 'A'. I have a 3.8gpa and am a tutor at UT. Don't take her class or prepare to get comments about you as a person, your future, and your work.

I took English 102 bus. writing from Ms. Locker. I really enjoyed the class. There were quite a few papers to write and projects to do. She was great at explaining what was expected. I would absolutely take her again!! I loved her class! I didn't take the online class but the on campus class and would highly recommend her!

I took this Business Writing ONLINE. Good professor overall. Somewhat disorganized. One complaint: Her course should be listed as "blended" because she required a group project. I had to meet other students in the class at the college in order to complete the big group project.

This was my first online class. I wrote 5 papers and she graded and returned them within a week. My advice is to read the chapters or at minimum the parts that cover the papers. If you take her online, look at her sample papers as a guideline for writing your own. Do the work and you will succeed. Negative: some information is hard to locate on BB.

Had for on-line business writing. She's very confusing, unclear, and disorganized. I spent more time trying to figure out what she wanted done then actually doing the work. I did get an A but given a choice I would not take her for another class.

Horrible! I tried taking her online AND in-class..ending up dropping both. She is extrememly unintelligent, slow, and the she didn't teach a thing. Very rude, talks down to people, and directions are always always always unclear!

Took this class online. She took forever to respond to questions on discussion board. With the final paper worth 300 points she expects you to work in a group, even though it is an online class which you are suppose to be able to do your work at your own convenience. Bad teacher, needed the class for my major but will never take her again.
